Supporting MSD of Warren Township
Working together to encourage and create excitement around reading to help build success for our students.
In November of 2023, KG’s Kids and MSD of Warren Township entered into a partnership to support literacy. KG’s Kids worked to support the 9 elementary schools in the district. Every initiative was carried out during the school year and we held a Night of Reading Celebration to kickoff the partnership.

KG’s Karnival of Books
In May, over 8,500 books were given away at the 9 elementary schools during our KG’s Karnival of Books. Each student was gifted 2 free books of their choice to support their summer reading.
Books Before Break
Books Before Break were given away during the spring of our inaugural year. Next year, each elementary student will be given a book before each of the breaks during the fall, winter and spring.
Classroom Library Adoptions
Every first year teacher in MSD of Warren received a classroom library of 20 books to support the readers in their classrooms.
Financial Literacy Workshops
Fourth graders participated in a financial literacy workshop in a partnership with Charles Schwab and KG’s Kids. Through this workshop, students were able to choose a career and other lifestyle choices to work through a monthly budget.
